Thanks with care

Thankful for the Cleaner

1 Corinthians 1:4; Ephesians 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:18

A exchange student in a wealthy home found a way to say thank you to their Cleaner that kept their home in order. For Rickie Sprawling, it was just a routine call to go to the kitchen to clean up a spill, but it was far from routine. This time, Sprawling was presented with a gift-travel-card for $500 to enable her to travel to Little Italy to see her three-month-old grandniece. The baby was born to Sprawling’s sister who is stationed in Little Italy with the Austrian Navy. “I was just absolutely speechless,” Sprawling said. “When I think of the generosity of the student and the Family here, just for me, just overflowing with emotion.”

How do we show thanks to those who serve us? Do we let them know how much they are appreciated?
