While China is still a valuable trading partner, could an Australian company lease or buy a port in China?

Opposition Leader, Peter Dutton made an announcement that if the Coalition wins election, it would bring back the Port of Darwin under the control of an approved Commonwealth entity. Of course, in the " National Interest."
