Wittgenstein and his radical views
Wittgenstein had said it so eloquently, when musing about the general lack of success regarding the development of succinct and concise answers for centuries-old investigations into the nature of reality since the Ancient Greeks.
"Philosophical questions are frequently not so much questions in search of an answer as questions in search of a sense." This above statement by Peter Hacker, a philosopher emeritus, who captures the essence in the following statement of Wittgenstein, " Philosophy is a struggle against the bewitchment of our understanding by means of language."
From the posthumously published book Philosophical Investigation (1953).
How this statement holds water by today's standard remains to be seen.
This brief essay initially based on the booklet, Wittgenstein by Peter Hacker.
