The Wokies:  (Re-Work A)

 

 A post-revolutionary movement 

  

....a delusional decade in which well- meaning activities to stop racism and sexism and ageism morphed into virtue-tanical and despostic purges and an  overkill movement to remake every aspect of Western  traditional society,politics,language and culture.

 

The remaking is the outcome-- in part--- of an attitude of interpretation of past historical events and especially outlawing values, traditions and customs exhibiting or espousing political, cultural and social norms not currently viewed as tolerable, but are irredeemably evil and repellent to an enlightened society.

However the remaking became raging extremism when women had their specific rights re- channeled by re-defintions of what exactly is a woman. Is she a he? If a man decides to become a woman just by saying it out-loud? 

By declaring.

I am on the planet,Mars just by wishing its so. Absurd ? What is Elon Musk going to say? Science and Biology was just circumvented or was it?

So everything becomes foggy when common sense does not apply.
