Life never guarantees happiness, but it does offer each of us meaning. 

Perhaps when we look after number one too much,we forgo the Happiness and Meaning of helping others find Happiness and Meaning. 

What do You think or feel?

Given that every life matters, including our own, we all attempt to preserve it.

Heroes give up their own right to life and attempt to save and preserve the right to life of others. We as a society, applaud the acts of heroism and rightly so. We reward courage, determination and risk-taking, whether in a war hero,a billionaire or stay at home Mum.

Likely you were surprised by the inclusion of a Mum in the above statement? Did this really seem unlikely? Did you honestly think that acts of heroism are limited to  war and conflict/risk in industry 🤔 ?

Ask yourself why you thought that way? Are the acts of heroism limited to the threats to life or the 'ordinary' acts of courage and selflessness in mundane life?
