Reverend Munther- A Delayed Reponse ?

Reverend Munther, let’s cut through the noise and deal with reality, not slogans, not propaganda, and certainly not selective outrage. You want to speak about Gaza? Then speak the full truth.

Look at Egypt.

Egypt shares a border with Gaza at Rafah. And what did they do? They built massive walls, reinforced fences, buffer zones, and one of the most heavily controlled borders in the region. Why? Because they know exactly what comes out of Gaza when Hamas is in control. Instability, weapons, and extremism. Egypt doesn’t open that border freely. Egypt doesn’t take in large numbers of Gazans. Egypt doesn’t allow unchecked movement. Instead, they locked it down tighter than almost any border in the world.

Now ask yourself:

If Gaza is just innocent civilians being oppressed, why does Egypt treat it like a high-risk security threat?

But here’s where your argument completely collapses. While Egypt builds walls and shuts doors, Israel has been the one allowing aid, medical treatment, electricity, water, and humanitarian access into Gaza for years, even while being attacked.

Israel has:

1. Allowed thousands of tons of aid trucks into Gaza
2. Treated Gazans in Israeli hospitals.
3. Supplied water, electricity, and infrastructure support
4. Issued warnings to civilians before strikes, something terrorists never do

And yet, you ignore all of that. Instead, you attack Israel, the very country that has shown more restraint and humanitarian effort than its neighbours, while remaining silent about Egypt’s actions. That’s not justice. That’s not truth. That’s selective outrage driven by ideology.

Honestly:

If Israel behaved the way Egypt does at that border, you would be screaming “human rights violations” every second of the day. But because it doesn’t fit your narrative, you stay quiet. So don’t come here pretending this is about compassion for Palestinians. If it were, you would be asking hard questions about Hamas, about Egypt’s border policy, and about why Gaza has been turned into a launchpad for terror instead of a functioning society.

Truth doesn’t fear comparison. And when you compare Israel and Egypt at that border, your argument doesn’t just weaken… It completely falls apart.

Shalom
