A Basic Lesson: But It May WorK,
Someone ought to start a movement- a solid trend- to the basics. Perhaps, it might be just novel enough to not only catch on, but to flourish. How long has it been since you walked into a store or shopped online without seeing New or Improved written on every container? Which is it anyway, new or improved? What about toothpaste? There’s a new ingredient added every year. If you don’t have FL-7, Amalga-58, Ammoniate, Fluoride, chlorophyll, etc., your teeth are sure to fall out before you finish reading the label. Regardless of how faithful you have been in brushing your teeth in the past, that doesn’t count if you have missed out on the latest ingredient.
What about Bottled water? If it's not from the right mineral sand- surrounded
spring, then it's not pure! It’s a wonder people ever got their clothes clean
in the past. Just think of it! They actually used {non-aerated} liquid soap and
often with non-purified water. What happened to plain tap water and
soap?
What a world, we live in!
Do you recall what happened to Coca Cola
when they wasted multi-millions of dollars bringing out the New Coke?
Improvement went too far and angry customers wouldn’t drink the new stuff. Coca
Cola almost immediately decided the old drink wasn’t so bad after all. This
time they returned to the old formula, but gave it a new name -Classic.
What about religion? Already there are scores of alternatives, new ones are popping up every year. What in the world! Given the state of our global journey, it’s hardly any wonder that there are countless preachers, gurus, life-coaches, pro-lecturers, celebrities and high-priests out there trying to sell a new and improved Christianity. With the new variations of a theme, what about the original? Any wonder that the new enquirer lose their cool and their way searching for peace and love. If any declarations are made, will accountability be also made? Let us hope these new inquirers will have more success than Coca Cola enjoyed.
