Is God real?

 Short Answer: We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in Creation, in His Bible, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.

 

The most basic proof of God’s existence is simply what He has made. “For since the creation of the cosmos God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1).

The other proof is the work of the Cross by Jesus of Nazareth ( the Son of God ) when He died for the whole of mankind, past, present and future accomplishing the reconcilation of humankind from the dark depths of depravity; the fallenness, sin and the power of the devil to God, the Father. Achieving in one cosmic act of forgiveness,i.e. the ultimate work of obtaining pardon for mankind and its redemption from slavery to sin.
