Wisdom's Call (Reworked)
This article about Proverbs 8 after my introduction is what I studied in conjunction with my Bible passage this very morning and it proved that wisdom is always needed in every situation, event and person. If you are a man, you need feminine energy to balance the whole person and vice versa. Although this sounds much like New Age philosophy or something from pagan teachings, it's a valid element of the ways of human nature.
Of course you could be wondering about that sentence above. What is wisdom, you ask? Why do we need it?
Our father and mother raised us as best as possible with the circumstances available to you and them
Mistakes, errors of judgement and flaws of character abound in all interactions with life. Some such interactions resulting in life- long darkness and pain. Of course successful interactions lead to the coupling or marriage foundations which are the basis of all societies.
However much-needed solutions are possible if and its a huge if, we apply ourselves to learn from such events with wisdom.
Wisdom is knowledge applied.
If you already know this, then you have learned something of human nature.
However though that statement is so true it belies the process itself.
We learn while living out the whole process---hopefully.
(I don't wish to tackle the inner workings of the process itself. That is beyond the scope of this essay.)
At this point in this essay.I shall say bye for now and leave you with a picture of Wisdom as it unfolds.

The book of Proverbs, Chapter 8 of the Old Testament of the book which we call the Bible by powerful word-pictures or visualisation is a powerful and poetic personification of Wisdom, portraying her as a stunning woman as crying out to humanity, urging them to embrace her. It highlights the immense value and benefits of wisdom, contrasting them with folly and wickedness.
Here's a summary of the key themes and verses in Proverbs 8:
Wisdom's Call (Proverbs 8:1-11):
* Wisdom is not hidden but boldly calls out in public places: on the heights, at the crossroads, by the gates of the city.
* She invites all, especially the simple and foolish, to learn prudence and understanding.
* Her words are trustworthy, true, and righteous, detesting wickedness and deceit.
* She offers instruction and knowledge, which are far more valuable than silver, gold, or rubies.
Wisdom's Nature and Authority (Proverbs 8:12-21):
* Wisdom dwells with prudence and possesses knowledge and discretion.
* The fear of the Lord (reverence for God) is equated with hating evil, pride, arrogance, and perverse speech.
* Wisdom provides counsel, sound judgment, insight, and strength.
* Through wisdom, kings reign, rulers make just decrees, and leaders govern righteously.
* Wisdom loves those who love her, and those who seek her will find her.
* With wisdom come riches, honor, enduring wealth, and righteousness, better than any earthly treasure.
Wisdom's Role in Creation (Proverbs 8:22-31):
* This section presents a profound theological concept: Wisdom existed with God from the very beginning, before creation.
* She was "brought forth" or "formed" before the earth, the deeps, the mountains, and the fields.
* Wisdom was present as a "master craftsman" or "architect" alongside God during creation, rejoicing in His work and delighting in mankind.
The Call to Listen and Find Life (Proverbs 8:32-36):
* Wisdom urges her "children" to listen to her instruction and be wise.
* Blessed are those who listen to her, watching daily at her doors.
* Whoever finds wisdom finds life and receives favor from the Lord.
* But those who "miss" or "sin against" wisdom harm themselves, for those who hate wisdom love death.
In essence, Proverbs 8 presents Wisdom not merely as an abstract concept, but as a vibrant, active force, intimately connected with God's very being and His creative work. It is an invitation to embrace wisdom as the path to life, prosperity, and divine favor.
